Rapture's History

Rapture sits at the bottom of the sea, a massive metropolis that beams in the darkness of the sea floor. Finished in 1951 Rapture was lead by creator and visionary Andrew Ryan as he attempted to create a paradise that was free from the parasites of society. The structure of society is modeled for free-flowing capitalism and supports little to no social programs
